On October 21st, 2018, Cambridge Assessment English in collaboration with the EUC – Cambridge Assessment English Authorized Center VN503, DOET Thua Thien Hue and DOET Quang Tri organized a training workshop on Teaching Methods and Cambridge English Assessment for 200 secondary and high school teachers belonging to the DOET Thua Thien Hue province, the DOET Quang Tri province and representatives of centers of 16 central provinces at the Office of the DOET Thua Thien Hue.
Attending the training session, there were Dr. Pham Van Hung – Director of DOET Thua Thien Hue; Mr. David Kaye – Cambridge English Teachers Training Specialist, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung – Customer Service Manager of the three Indochinese countries; Mr Tran Du Sinh – EUC Deputy Director and all teachers.
The training workshop was taken place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on October 21, led by Cambridge English Teachers Training Specialist Mr. David Kaye. This is one of the regular activities held annually by EUC-VN503 and Cambridge to support teachers in teaching methods to improve the quality of Cambridge English Training and Testing.

To start the training session, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung – Customer Service Manager of the three Indochinese countries gave an introduction to Cambridge English. After that, Expert David Kaye conducted a training session with the following contents: Introduction of Cambridge English certificates – KET, PET, The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), TKT program, TKT CLIL and support secondary school teachers about CLIL application scenarios. The training session was very exciting and vibrant with interesting, interactive, creative, witty and highly effective activities.
